Sarawak Indian Society gives away goodies

The Committees of Sarawak Indian Society (SIS) distributed Diwali Lunch goodies to the Home of Peace at Jalan Landeh, Kuching on Sunday.

State Assemblyman, Lo Khere Chiang was present to distribute the goodies to 61 paxs resident and staff.

Sister Ursula Lian welcomed and thanked SIS for the kind gesture for bringing joyful cheers to the Home. She said this is the first time Diwali goodies are distributed to the Home.

SIS also distributed Diwali lunch goodies to the Rumah Seri Kenangan Kuching, at Jalan Datuk Mohd. Musa, Samarahan. Pengetua Mr. Peter Gabong was present to welcome the members of SIS. He thanked SIS for the Diwali goodies.

Sih Hua Tong, Chairman SUPP Batu Lintang was present to distribute the goodies to 90 pax resident and staff.

Sih wished everybody a very Happy Diwali and congratulated SIS for organizing this very meaningful event.

President Strimari Rajamanikan said SIS would consider organizing such event annually which is one of SIS community service with the grace of GOD.

Also at the function was SIS Advisor, Lucy Lingam.
