Batu Kawah Riverbank project restarts
Local government and Housing Minister, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian visited the site of Batu Kawa Riverbank Park (Phase 4) recently with Padawan Municipal Council and contractors to check on the project done.
He expressed gladness that work will restart after MCO Phase1 with slight delay of completion by Jan 2022.
Phase 4 funding, he added was “cancelled” by PH Federal Government in 2018 but managed to get it reinstated by PN Plus Federal Government 2020.
Otherwise, he said it will almost complete same time with Phase 1 & 2 (funded by GPS Sarawak Gov). It is late but better than never, he added.
