TM Malaysia briefs Dr Sim Kui Hian on fibrisation for Batu Kawah
Local Government and Housing Minister, Dato’ Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian thanked TM Malaysia Sarawak team for briefing him on fibrisation of Batu Kawah.
Dr Sim said with fibrisation, customers should be able to prevent stealing of copper.
He said so far there are around 500 customers with streamyx in Batu Kawah who have yet to capitalise with fibrisation to upgrade to UniFi.
TM, he said, had assured they will continue to capital invest on infrastructure as there are rooms to grow their customers.
At the moment, only 8,000 out of 25,000 houses in Batu Kawah had taken up fibrized TM connection.
