Datuk Sebastian Ting launch Bomba
KUCHING: Assistant Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Datuk Sebastian Ting is looking forward to open out Sarawak for tourism once 80 percent of the population has been vaccinated.
Ting when officiating a fitness programme at Miri Bomba said last year the Tourism ministry has planned 115 events which will take off as soon as the ban for travel is lifted.
He explained that die to the pandemic, they were unable to open up like the rest of the world to contain the pandemic first.
Ting and Minister of Transport, Datuk Lee Kim Shin will lead to get themselves vaccinated next month in March 6. “Millions of people are vaccinated all over the world and the one suffer from adverse effect is very small. I encouraged my family and friends to go for the jab,” he said.
Ting launched a 61 day Bomba challenge, Fat to fitness programme at Bomba Zone 6 where 200 firemen including 10 women took part.
He also handed them hand them 500 pcs of PPE, 36 bottles of hand sanitizer and 3000 pieces of face masks.
