SUPP Youth Central Chairman, Michael Tiang says GPS concern on Sarawakians’ welfare

GPS was formed with four coalition parties , PBB, PRS, SUPP and PDP was to take care of Sarawakians, said SUPP Youth Central Chairman, Michael Tiang.

The ongoing turmoil in the political turmoil in Malaysia, Tiang said, showed that it is important that GPS will safeguard Sarawakians for it to be strong in all aspects.

He said that was why GPS was formed to take care of Sarawak and Warisan formed to take care of Sabah while Malaya has their own based parties, all working towards the common good of Malaysia.

Tiang added that for GPS, they want to have their own say for the sake of Sarawak and at the national level he believed that GPS will support a capable and responsible government. He said the Federal government has to respect MA 63 and give back the rights of Sarawak.

My personal view, he stated, is that we,Sarawak should be political independent.
