Tan Sri George Chan speaks his mind
Former SUPP President, Tan Sri Dr. George Chan expressed his relief that Teras is formed as this would mean that there will be no more infighting within the party.
Chan, who was at the celebration of raising the flag of the 55th year of SUPP today, said now is the time for the party to move forward and to ensure that the party will grow stronger.
He said everyone must work together now as a team.
Chan said he is against Teras joining the Barisan Nasional and believe that BN leaders will not accept the party into its fold.
“It is a matter of principle and if Teras were to be accepted in, there will be a horde of problems cropping up. What if some people do not like their party leaders and decided to jump and form another party. It will be a no ending situation,” he said.
