Preventive measures to fight rabies
Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Piasau Youth Chief, Chia Kah Frung, advised pet owners to watch out for the behaviour of their pets and not to let them get out of their compounds as Miri has been confirmed infected by rabies.
Chia said after the announcement made on Thursday, Mirian had been uneasy but said they can all fight the virus together by reporting if they see strange symptoms of strays which barked in an aggressive manner or have drools all over thier mouths. He said they should report to the Rabies Hotline at 085-411866 immediately.

Mirians are urge to be do the necessary by washing themselves with soap and water for 15 minutes if bitten by dogs and go to the nearest clinic and hospital immediately.
Chia also urged Miriams not to put out fake news but to fight rabies together.
