Grants for associations, organisations and NGOs
Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian, has called on associations and organisations to do their part and contribute to the people’s issues while issuing grant to 35 organisation yesterday morning at the SUPP headquarters.
He said the Sarawak government always think of the best approach to help out local associations and organisations.
Dr Sim who is the President of SUPP, hoped that all these organisations would continue to carry out their good work for the benefit of the ‘rakyat’ (people),” he said prior to presenting grants to 35 local associations, organisations and committees at SUPP headquarters here yesterday.
He hoped that the grants would be put to good use, apart from for the purpose stated in their application for such allocation. A total of 961 associations, organisations and NGOs have received grants from his ministry.
