Miri Hospital Run 2018
Pisau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting called for more people to come for the Hospital Run 2018, which will be held on April 8 to raise fund and develop a healthy lifestyle.
Ting said the run which is in the second year, is organised by Sepitar Sejahtera, a club under the Miri hospital. He will join the Run again this year.
Miri Hospital director Dr Jack Wong said the Registration for Hospital Run 2018 on April 8 is still open, and those who have yet to get the form can register manually or online. Forms, he added are available at Share Tea (Boulevard Commercial Centre), Bulatan Park Canteen and Miri Hospital administration office, while online registration can be done at http://bulatanparkrunnersclub.com/mhr.
This year’s event on April 8, 2018 is in conjunction with World Health Day on April 7.
The Club planned to target 1,500 participants and the money collected will be used to upgrade the hospital’s facilities and other immediate needs.
Last year’s fund was used to organise 10 organ donation awareness campaigns, which managed to get 229 new pledges.
