Alex Chu message to UPP: return to SUPP

SUPP Youth Central Deputy Chairman Alex Chu said United People’s Party (UPP) should draw lessons from history.

Alex, who is also Youth Chief of SUPP Pujut Branch, reminded Bruce Chai, Chairman of UPP Pujut Branch not to repeat the same mistake as in state election 2016, whereas UPP candidate, who was tagged with ‘BN Direct’, was defeated by opposition.

During the SUPP 24^th Triennial Delegates Convention that was held recently, both Prime Minister and Sarawak Chief Minister have made clear-cut calling to all UPP members to come back to SUPP. On top of that, the delegates have unanimously passed the one and only resolution of the convention –‘reject BN Direct in coming General Election’.

Hence, Alex advised Bruce to make a wise move. ‘If Chai is serious in representing BN to contest in Miri constituency, the only way for him is returning to SUPP and prove his sincerity by serving the voters of Miri in whole-heartedness. Action speaks louder than any kind of words. Move yourself into the right family, then only you’ll gain recognition from the majority.’

He urged Bruce to take the advice seriously or find himself getting the wrong end of the stick.
