SUPP youth lodged report on Shafie Apdal for seditious act

SUPP Central Youth lodged police report against Kota Kinabalu Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) president Shafie Apdal for seditious act at the One-Stop centre, Simpang Tiga police Station recently.

Youth Central Chairman, Tan kai who is also Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, said Shafie had intentionally said that BN-led government should let Christians in Sabah and Sarawak use the word “Allah” in their worship and make sure it is not misinterpreted to the detriment of Muslims.

‘This is seditious remark as the Federal has allowed Sabah and Sarawak to use the word, ‘Allah’. said Tan Kai who added that the remark was carried out in an online news portal two days ago.

He called to authority concerned to take action against Shafie for stirring up sentiments as there are a lot of Christians in Sabah and Sarawak.

Tan Kai said no political leader should use religion to stir up discord among the people. Sarawak is a peaceful state with all races and different races and religious living together. Thus, action should be taken against Shafie to put a stop to this nonsense.

Also with Tan kai are youth Chiefs, Michael Tiang, Milton Foo, Leonard Tan and Cr Mok Chuan Ping who were from different youth branches.
