WhatsApp number for public to forward suggestions
MPP chairman Lo Khere ChiangPadawan Municipal Council (MPP) will soon introduce a WhatsApp number to make it easier for the public to forward suggestions to the council.
The number would also enable the public to give constructive feedback and advice on how the council can move forward and improve its services to the community as the MPP is taking ways to improve services to the public.
The council, he added, has always worked towards improving their services to the public and wanted them to be involved so that they will do for the betterment of the people.
MPP crest is also being placed on road signage to help the public identify those under the council’s jurisdiction, so that complaints can be lodged directly to the authorities concerned.
According to him, eight enforcement officers have undergone a traffic wardens course run by the Padawan District police station, to assist the police with managing traffic in MPP’s area.
He urged rate payers to pay their assessment bills, pointing out the money is used to provide services such as road maintenance, grass cutting, drain clearing, and refuse collection.
The Minister of Local Government and Housing Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian officiated at the function.
