Board members for Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (Petros)
The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) is happy with the state government’s choice of board members for the state’s wholly-owned oil and gas company Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (Petros).
The Chief Minister’s Office announced yesterday that Tan Sri Datuk Amar Hamid Bugo has been appointed Petros chairman.
“He is an excellent choice as chairman, being our former state secretary and has experience in the industry,” SUPP secretary-general Datuk Sebastian Ting told when contacted.
The other board members are Datuk Mohammad Medan Abdullah, Sharbini Suhaili, Zuraimi Sabki and Heng Hock Cheng.
“They will do well for Sarawak and her people as these board members have a wealth of experience and invaluable extensive network in the oil and gas industry which is vital,” added Ting.
