Piasau reopened its doors
A delighted Chairman of SUPP Piasau Branch, Dato’ Sebastian Ting officially reopened his branch which was reinstated by the ROS yesterday.
Ting thanked his committee and party members for giving him the support when he most needed it during the time of uncertainty.
He said the Home Ministry and ROS had cleared both the branches, Piasau and Bekenu on Wednesday, which had brought a great relief to all party members, supporters and friends.
Calling all members in Sarawak to put the bad episode behind them, he said they should now work hand in hand to protect the rights and serve the people as what their founders had done. He said in time to come, the senior members would play the advisory role while the younger members would be leading the party.
He said ROS has also extended the Piasau and Bekenu branches annual subscription fees from April 30 this year to May 15 this year.
Also sharing the happy moments is Pujut Chairman Andy Chia.
