Clearing rubbish in drains in the Kota Sentosa Commercial area

The SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (PCB) was recently approached by traders and business owners at Kota Sentosa Commercial area who requested for assistance to request Pawadan Municipal Council to urgently clear the rubbish in blocked drains which was causing flash floods during heavy rain and causing great inconvenience to them and their customers.

Residents staying at Lorong 13H1, Arang Road had also complained on the uneven dilapidated road condition in front of the road entrance of Lorong 13H1 which was causing damage to the undercarriage of their motorcars.

Following both requests for assistance received, SUPP PCB Chief Wilfred Yap had gone to inspect and assess the situation together with officers of Padawan Municipal Council.

Yap would like to thank officers from Padawan Municipal Council for their speedy action in clearing the rubbish in the drains at Kota Sentosa Commercial Area and also for repairing the road entrance at Lorong 13 H1, Arang Road.

Yap would like to advise traders and business owners to cooperate and be considerate in future and not to throw any rubbish or organic material into the drain to prevent the blockage of the drains from occurring again in the future.
