Residents worried of collapsing culvert following heavy downpour
Teng Ung Woo paid a visit to Sg. Kesa on Tuesday after receiving complaints from local residents on a culvert in the area.
Teng who is political secretary to the Chief Minister, was told that due to the recent heavy downpour, soil erosion caused the side of the wooden culvert to collapse.
The villagers are worried that the soil erosion will damage the road and cause it to be impassable for them.
Teng said he will bring the matter to the authority concerned to have a proper drain done.
