Lo on the passing on of former Party President Tan Sri Dr. Wong Soon Kai
I am sadden by the passing of a comrade who was a great leader. When he was our party president, I was a member in the Batu Kawa branch.
Datuk Patinggi was a no-nonsense and disciplined leader. He also made sure SUPP played a inclusive role in the Barisan Nasional decision-making. He was really a gentleman to the end.
Even towards the end, he was loyal to the Party and hoped that we will do well. He had met with our Party leader, Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian and us many times in his residence and offered good advice and moral support.
He will be missed and the Party had suffered a big loss with his demise.
My condolences to Puan Sri and his family.
