Improving women’s productivity
State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Lo Khere Chiang praised the kampung women to be involved in learning a skill for themselves so that they can earn a living to improve their lives.
He said this during the skill development program organised by council of women and families (MPWK), which is under the Ministry of Women, family and community during the weekend at Kampung Haji baki.
Lo said the women should change themselves to strive for better living and used their free time to engage in meaning activities.
This sort of handicraft, he said, could also portray their artistic side.
