Lo: keeping our environment clean is important.
Batu Kitang State Assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang joined in a gotong royong program to clean up the Taman Flora Indah this morning.
The gotong royong was organsed by members of the Sg. Maong Methodist Church and KRT Taman Flora Indah to clean up the 18 blocks of Taman Flora Indah .
Lo said with many diseases these days, it is important to keep the environment clean .
And with clean surrounding, one would not fear diseases like rodents or mosquitoes should rubbish be thrown anywhere.
Lo said by cleaning together, the residents themselves would feel the need to keep their surround clean and not litter as it would affect all of them. This, he said, would also foster a closer relationship between the residents.
