Sarikei: Teng out to help the unfortunate
Political secretary to the Chief Minister, Teng Ung Woo went to Meruton, Sarikei to assist a couple who had no stable job but had three schooling children. The husband Chan Chuan Woon was unable to get a proper job.
Teng said the family were staying in a house that was falling apart and he will help apply for housing aid to help them and the Welfare department to assist them monthly.
Meanwhile, in Sarikei town, Teng distributed the national and state flags to road users near the Central market yesterday morning in conjunction with the Merdeka day celebration.
