Sarawakians prefer Results, not endless political disputes, says Eric Tay
Kuching South City Council (MBKS) councillor Eric Tay said Sarawakians are more concerned about who can deliver greater development for the state than engaging in endless political arguments. PH’s Justification of Project Delays Does Not Hold Up
Batu Kitang assemblyman Dato Ir Lo Khere Chiang has rejected Stampin MP Chong Chieng Jen’s defence of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration, arguing that its explanation for reviewing development projects does not withstand scrutiny. Lo said Chong’s claim that PH had only reviewed overpriced mega projects was inaccurate, pointing out that several smaller community projects in his constituency had also been affected. 石角大马教育文凭备考工作营
居住在石角选区的600名即将面对大马教育文凭（SPM）考试的学生，日前参与为期两天的备考工作营，让考生能从中更好掌握考试技能。 石角区议员拿督阿玛沈桂贤是从2024年开始，推行这项生活营，目的是让考生能更好掌握各项备考技能，以便能考到优异成绩。 有关活动是在石角洪清河多种用途中心，主办当局也邀请多位资深讲师，为考生提供多方面的讲解，以及所有和备考有关的事项。 参与的600为考生，除了就读石角选区三所中学，即石角民立中学、石角国中和煤炭路中学外，也包括那些不是就读上述三所中学的石角大马教育文凭考生。 沈桂贤高兴看到类型的活动能再次顺利举行，并感谢各校校长、老师及家长的配合与支持。他说，大马教育文凭是马来西亚非常重要的文凭之一，它对学生日后的升学与就业都起着非常重要的作用，因此希望全体考生都能考取优异的成绩。 他高兴看到，历年来，砂拉越考生都能在大马教育文凭考试中，考获优异成绩，当中包括许多来自石角地区的学生。 沈桂贤指出，砂拉越政府非常重视教育的培训，过去一些学生可能面对家境条件不好，影响继续升学机会，但现在砂拉越政府提高了许多良好的升学援助，包括免费教育、提供奖贷学金、提供电脑，甚至生活费，因此经费不是阻碍一个学生继续升学障碍。 “砂拉越国家建设的成功离不开良好的教育，才能拥有源源不断的优秀人才。让我们携手合作，确保砂拉越拥有更多和更大的成功机会。“
