窦家雄: 将教育部现有对于砂拉越学校的管制权限下放给砂拉越政府
砂人联党青年总团秘书长窦家雄疾呼联邦政府，将教育部现有对于砂拉越学校的管制权限，下放给砂拉越政府，以制定出真正体现砂民情，符合砂子民利益的教育政策。 “以拿督斯里安华为首的团结政府，尤其是来自西马政党的领袖们，其所制定的政策只以西马为核心，明显的与砂拉越民情脱节，不符合砂子民的风俗与意愿。” 窦家雄指出：“就以教育部下令要在全国学校推行的“巴勒斯坦团结周”为例，来自公正党的教育部长与来自行动党的副教长，是否事先咨询东马领袖们的立场与意见？” 窦家雄强调，砂拉越各民族生来就爱好和平，崇尚友爱，秉行中庸、互敬互重的精神，绝大多数的砂拉越家长，不期望孩子们卷入国际政治与宗教的冲突。 “遗憾的是，西马的领袖们无法体会到这一点，反而鼓吹向学生们灌输特定的政治观念，” 窦家雄说，如今西马已经发生师生们在教室里扮成巴勒斯坦战士，手持玩具枪做出模拟战斗，也许西马的家长认为这符合他们的价值观，但是在砂拉越绝不是这样的。 窦家雄续说，身为砂拉越人，我们要的很简单，就是让学校回归到单纯的教育，不要有政治思维与立场，更不要有宗教或极端的情绪。因此，现有的联邦政府有必要听取砂拉越人的心声，将教育方面的自主权限，交给砂拉越政府。
