School grant for Chinese schools
Deputy Premier, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian presented an annual grant to nine Sarawak Chinese Middle Schools from Miri, Bintulu and Sibu recently. Dr. Sim who presented the grant at Sarawak United Peoples party (SUPP) headquarters said Chinese Education in Sarawak is for all races. “Since 2014, Adenan started with RM3 million and continue by Premier Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg Abg Jo with an additional RM 1 million every year until it reaches RM10 million last year. 沈桂贤移交独中拨款
砂拉越副总理兼公共卫生、房屋及地方政府部长拿督斯里沈桂贤颁发砂拉越政府年度拨款予美里、民都鲁和诗巫9所华文独中。 受惠的独中分别是泗里奎民立中学（47万9295令吉）、诗巫公教中学（82万3053令吉）、诗巫黄乃裳中学（72万零705令吉）、诗巫光民中学（49万5612令吉）、诗巫公民中学（49万9691令吉）、诗巫建兴中学（52万7132令吉）、民都鲁开智中学（58万9061令吉）、美里培民中学（70万8096令吉）及美里廉律中学 82万4166令吉）。 沈桂贤强调，砂拉越华文教育是属于全民的教育，自从2014年以来，时任砂拉越首长阿德南沙登开始拨款300万令吉予砂拉越独中，之后砂拉越总理阿邦佐哈里延续这项政策，每年增加100万令吉拨款，至去年1000万令吉。今年拨款数额同样是1000万令吉。 他感谢砂拉越华文独立中学董事会联合总会拟定方程式，将拨款分享予砂拉越所有14所独中。 他说，虽然砂拉越政府提供的拨款资助，仍少于砂拉越独中整体常年开销，有时候可能出现延迟缴付水电费的情况，但教职员的薪资必须一直准时发放。 “目前砂拉越政府提供的拨款资助，可承担教职员4至6月薪资，在冠病疫情及当下通货膨胀时期，这绝对能舒缓砂拉越独中面对的经济挑战。” 沈桂贤强调，砂拉越第二官方语言是英语，再加上砂拉越本土大学，如斯威本科技大学砂拉越分校、砂拉越科技大学及科廷大学，以及砂拉越基金局国际中学等教育设施，是时候根据建国契约索回教育自主权。 “一旦我们拥有教育自主权，我们可以自行决定砂拉越教育发展模式，无需任何事都必须咨询联邦政府。”
New chairs for Sarawak General hospital

SUPP Candidates for 15th General Election
SUPP has submitted the names of multiple potential candidates for various constituencies to Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, said Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian.
