沈桂贤：砂同胞为权益而战
砂副总理兼公共卫生、房屋及地方政府部长拿督斯里沈桂贤表示，当今世界充满不确定性，局势纷乱及经济低靡等，马来西亚需要一个强大及稳定政府，而不是在5年内出现3任首相。 “那些无休止的政治闹剧、分裂与仇恨是时候划上句点了。” 也是砂人联党主席的沈桂贤，在首相拿督斯里依斯迈沙比利宣布解散国会后发文告指出，马来西亚建国59年后，砂同胞终于迎来机会，为阐明于1963年建国契约的权益而奋斗。 他说，砂人民应力争属于砂的卫生和教育自主权、砂沙巴国会议席占三分之一比例以及确保砂获得应得的更大拨款份额。 因此，他认为，第15届国选是属于砂同胞们的机会，团结一心，齐心协力，力挺砂盟强大团队进入来届国会。
