Sarawak Deputy Premier, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian with his CWC members distribute rice porridge at the Miri Night Market last night to Muslims during the fasting month of Ramadan. A total of 500 packs of porridge were prepared and distributed. Sarawak Transport Minister Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin, Sarawak Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industries and Performing Arts, Datuk Sebastian Ting and Mayor Miri, Adam Yii were among those who were helping out with the distribution.

Sarawak United Peoples Party President, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian with his secretary General, Datuk Sebastian Ting and Vice President, Datuk Lee Khim Shin visited party members from Lawas, Limbang and Miri yesterday. Dr Sim who led the Central working committee members there said they normally visited the branches at least two or three times per year but due to pandemic, they were unable to visit the last two years. The party will be holding its Triennial Delegates meeting in May this year.
