沈桂贤助民众发展农业
石角区议员拿督斯里沈桂贤鼓励有农耕地的石角民众，多善用土地从事农耕活动，同时也对众多石角居民目前的农业产生成果感到高兴。 他表示，任何一个国家，农业都是国家经济主要支柱之一，一旦有了良好的农业发展成果，就能达到本国自供自给，减少进口的目的。 沈桂贤日前巡视石角多家农场，包括种植水果、蔬菜和养鱼活动后指出，他将会寻求农业部的协助，以便为积极从事农业活动，特别是依靠农业生产为主要经济来源的石角民众，提供必要协助。 最令他感到高兴的是，有不少年轻人已投入农业发展项目，摒弃了只有年长者才会从事农业的想法。 “大部分石角民众都有本身的土地，我们鼓励他们多种植和生产，一来可以增加收入，二来也不会荒废现有的土地。” 沈桂贤说，在砂拉越政府领导下的农业局一路来都非常鼓励民众多从事农业活动，同时也有提供各项协助，以减轻农民的经济负担。 在这方面，他承诺会竭尽所能协助有需要的农民，同时也指示砂首长署政治秘书陈开访问石角区民众，并了解他们当前的状况。
陈超耀授旗予登山者
砂拉越旅游、艺术及文化部助理部长拿督陈超耀律师在砂人联党卑尔骚支部主持授旗礼，为有意征服砂拉越最高山峰——穆鲁山（Mt Murut）的民众壮行。 位于巴卡拉兰的穆鲁山高度为7950米，为砂拉越最高山峰。陈超耀指出，他友人曾在该山顶上看见其他州属的旗帜，他认为当地也应该有砂拉越的旗帜。 爬山者沙盖将花费两天攻顶，首天预料花费4至5小时到半山，隔天再花费同样时间攻顶。根据砂拉越博物院记录，首名成功攻顶者是地理学家Eric Mjoberg。

石角区议员拿督斯里沈桂贤宣布，将提升石角路戈迪帝路口(Jalan ketitir)的排水系统及兴建德莎威拉人形道的一座桥梁。 他与巴达旺市议会副秘书吴忝曷巡视上述地点后，要求市议会近期内对这两项工程进行价格评估和设计，以方便采取下一步行动。 他表示，戈迪帝路口现有是泥土沟渠，而且无论是深度或宽度，都不能应付日益增加的排水量，导致往往出现严重积水影响交通系统问题。 沈桂贤说，这条沟渠需要提升至更大更宽的洋灰沟渠，我们需要巴达旺市议会尽快对工程的费用和设计进行策划，方便为兴建做好准备。 至于德莎威拉第一巷路口人行道桥梁，虽然目前已有人行道，但缺乏一座横跨大沟渠的桥梁，导致民众步行到附近市场时，仍需沿着车水马龙的道路步行。 他指出，石角民众服务中心已接获民众的要求，以便兴建一座横跨大沟渠的桥梁，如此民众就可以安全沿着人行道走去市场。 沈桂贤认为这是非常重要的设施，市议会会尽快对工程进行价格评估和设计出来，确保工程能尽快落实，方便和维护当地民众。

关心庙宇活动与抗炎 阿贤移交拨款与口罩
石角区议员拿督斯里沈桂贤今天开始，到访石角区各庙宇移交拨款和派送口罩。 有关拨款属於他给这些庙宇的常年活动拨款，特别是即将来临的中元节(七月半)，庙宇都会主办相关祭拜活动，需要一笔活动经费。 此外，因为新冠肺炎疫情迄今仍威胁民众安全，所以沈桂贤在到访这些庙宇期间，也派送口罩给相关庙宇理事会成员。 参与今天活动的包括砂首长署政治秘书陈开、甲必丹曾文及、甲必丹温淑萍和石角思故邦分部主席林亚德。 石角选区庙宇众多，沈桂贤今天率先移交支票给甲港永兴宫、顺利宫；上湾头五显大帝和常平山，其他的庙宇或宗教组织会在近日陆续进行。 沈桂贤上星期也透过社区领袖和思故邦分部派送口罩给德莎威拉小贩、EMART小贩及石角巴刹商家。
古晋圣约瑟学楼展开修复工程
身兼古晋圣约瑟中学校友会主席的砂地方政府及房屋部长拿督斯里沈桂贤，日前见证承包商委任状移交仪式，该校的Mill Hill学楼将进行为期7个月的修复工程。 该学楼是1894年由砂拉越白人拉惹查尔斯布洛克开幕，非常具有历史性。砂政府于2010年将主楼列为文化遗产建筑。 古晋圣约瑟中学Mill Hill学楼修复工程预计耗资550万令吉，目前已经筹集250万令吉，其中150万令吉是砂政府拨款。 该校仍需要300万令吉以完成修复工程，有意捐款者可将捐款汇入May Bank户头，名字是SJS Mill Hill Block Restoration，户头号码511113526004。欲获取捐款收据可将汇款单据电邮至sjsmillhillblock1894@gmail.com。

陈超耀：国油公司应尽快还砂销售税
砂拉越人民联合党中央秘书长拿督陳超耀律师表示，联邦上诉庭批准国油公司撤回对古晋高庭宣判砂政府及砂销售税审计师有权征收石油产品销售税裁决而提出的上诉，对于砂拉越人民来说，这是令人振奋的好消息，也是砂拉越人民期盼已久的结果。 “与此同时，砂政府也撤回对高庭有关石油产品销售税管辖权的交叉上诉。这是皆大欢喜的局面，但真正重要的是，国油公司即将缴付砂拉越2019年石油产品销售税。” 他强调，砂拉越人民联合党欢迎国油公司撤回上诉的决定，并吁请国油公司在最快的时间内缴付砂拉越应得的石油产品销售税，勿再拖延。同时，既然国油公司撤回上诉，这也意味着该公司承认砂拉越石油及天然气领域权力，在未来的日子，该公司必须遵守砂政府制订的一切条例。 他说，普遍砂拉越人民相信国油公司撤回上诉，是希盟政府倒台后才会出现的结果。砂拉越人民联合党此前提出，希盟政府对砂拉越并不友善，国油公司代表律师在2018年6月4日，距离第14届全国大选落幕未到1个月，就入禀法庭起诉砂政府，以否决砂拉越征收石油产品销售税的权力。 陈超耀指出，在希盟执政期间，国油公司坚决不肯缴付砂拉越石油产品销售税，一再挑战砂拉越人民的底线。庆幸的是，在砂拉越人民极力拥护及支持下，砂拉越政党联盟GPS从不妥协，始终坚持征收石油产品销售税的权力，并不惜为此与国油公司展开漫长的司法战。 “联邦政府政权更迭，国盟政府执政后，国油公司强硬的态度出现180度转变，从不愿承认及遵守砂拉越石油及天然气权力的立场，转变成愿意与砂政府协商，甚至表明愿意缴付石油产品销售税，如今撤回上诉就是最好的证明。” 砂拉越人民联合党感谢一再重申重视砂拉越权益的首相丹斯里慕尤丁，以及一直坚持捍卫砂拉越权益的砂首长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里及众砂政党联盟领袖。石油产品销售税课题的正面进展，充分显示国盟与砂盟履行承诺，捍卫砂拉越人民的利益。 他表示，反观前朝联邦政府希盟，从执政到倒台的22个月，不仅对砂拉越毫无作为，甚至还侵蚀砂拉越的利益，包括取消庞大基建工程，以及不顾砂拉越乡区莘莘学子的命运，在砂拉越残旧学校课题上玩弄政治手段。砂拉越希盟领袖应对此感到惭愧。 砂拉越人民联合党恭贺砂拉越律师团队，包括砂首长署助理部长拿督莎丽花哈希达、砂法律顾问拿督斯里冯裕中及砂律政司拿督达叻玛目在石油产品销售税案件上不懈努力，最终取得正面成果。此课题也证明了，只要坚持不懈，胜利最终会属于正义的一方。 砂政府成功捍卫征收石油产品销售税的权力，是属于全体砂拉越人民的胜利，也是大家团结一致的成果。砂拉越人民联合党呼吁砂拉越人民继续保持团结，展现捍卫1963年建国契约赋予砂拉越权益的强烈决心。

砂旅游、艺术及文化助理部长拿督陈超耀律师日前出席甘榜鲁哇举行的宰牲活动，分配牛肉给当地居民。 也是卑尔骚区州议员的陈超耀遵守标准作业程序，将多达200公斤的牛肉派送给村民。 陈超耀在今年的哈芝节为选区6个甘榜派送生牛肉，他提醒居民在疫情防控期间，好好配合各种标准作业程序，勤于洗手，出门戴口罩。
