陳超耀：国油应尽快缴付石油销售税
砂拉越人民联合党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师强调，砂拉越政府向来有权力，向所有出口石油产品征收5%销售税。 他指出，国油公司作为全国石油公司，必须尊从砂拉越法律，并像其他石油公司一样，向砂政府缴税。 “砂拉越的销售税征收权力，阐明于联邦宪法第95B (3)条文，以及跨政府委员会报告第24章节，说明砂拉越及沙巴政府可以拟定法律征收销售税，并且这项销售税的权力是列在州事项，而非联邦事项。” 陳超耀今日发文告说，这次司法检讨被古晋高庭驳回后，国油公司不应继续上诉，延迟对砂拉越的付款。他们应该像其他在砂拉越运作的石油公司一样，缴付销售税。 “或许，国油公司应该即刻向他们的新老板，即首相丹斯里慕尤丁汇报，并且同意砂政府追讨13亿令吉2019年上半年销售税及罚款。” 同时，砂人联党恭贺砂首长署助理部长(法律、州与联邦事务及工程监督)拿督莎丽花哈茜达、砂律政司拿督达叻玛目、砂律政署顾问拿督斯里冯裕中及整个法律团队的杰出工作，成功捍卫砂拉越在1963年建国契约及联邦宪法的权益。 他强调，砂人民殷切盼望国油公司能尽快缴付他们应缴的销售税，尤其是这笔2019年上半年的13亿令吉销售税，可用于帮助砂人民应对目前艰难局势及挑战。
