Heavy rainfall cause many parts of Kuching to be flooded and families forced to fkee their homes.  Nine families with 29 people and a baby from Taman Seri Emaswere evacuated to Dewan Masyarakat   Dato Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian, Minister of Local Government and Housing who went down to comfort the victims praised the teamwork by JPBN (despite different Federal and State agencies).  He also reminded all agencies and the local community be prepared for floods during this raining seasons.
