叶耀星关注石角新市镇垃圾问题
垃圾问题持续发生，店主居民苦不堪言！ 石角新市镇MJC商业中心的店主及居民们日前向人联党公共投诉局主任叶耀星投诉位于店屋后方垃圾站脏乱不堪的现象；且这个情况一直反覆发生。 对此，叶耀星偕同巴达旺市议会人员及垃圾处理承包公司Trienekens代表到现场实地视察。他们在视察中发现问题源自住户或店家在丢垃圾时没有把垃圾投掷进由Trieneken所提供的垃圾桶。这不仅影响美观，且散发臭味。 他认为，这个情况必须得到各方面（管理层，店主及住户）的配合才能解决这个由来已久的问题。他也希望MJC管理层，店主及住户们居民可以配合巴达旺市议会共同营造良好整洁的卫生环境。 他提醒大众垃圾堆积处的处理都花费纳税人每年庞大的额外开销。 同时，叶耀星也呼吁公众除了向当局反应问题外，也协助当局抓拿破坏环境者如提供乱丢了垃圾的人士过程照片、车牌号码、地点、日期时间等。这些资讯及照片可有效的认出非法丢弃垃圾的嫌犯。 人联公共投诉局已做好准备并尝试通过相关部门解决影响社区的公共议题。人联党公共投诉局已准备好为面对相关问题却不懂得如何处理的民众伸出援手。任何相关事宜可联系人联党公共投诉（016-7797688或082246999）或亲临人联党总部。
Throw rubbish into the bins provided, Yap told residents of MJC
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (PCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap said the issue of making sure that the waste is properly thrown into rubbish bins lies with the management corporation, business owners and residents of MJC Batu Kawah New Township.
