Christmas visit
SUPP secretary general, Datuk Sebastian Ting and Datuk Lee Khim Shim with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce went on a round of Christmas visit in Miri today. Ting said in Sarawak, everyone celebrate every festival from different religious and races. He said this open house concept should be continued to show our respect and understanding towards each other.
Lo ask Chong to check facts before talking
Batu Kitang Assemblyman, Lo Khere Chiang asked MP Stampin, Chong Chieng Jen not to make wild allegation about using his own money for grass cutting at protocol roads when he should be going to ask his boss, the Minister of Finance, YB Lim Guan Eng for the allocation for grass cutting. 罗克强：联邦道路剪草工作是联邦政府责任
砂人联党峇都吉当区州议员兼巴达旺市议会主席罗克强对行动党实旦宾国会议员张健仁声称使用自己的资金在联邦礼仪道路进行剪草工程感到惊讶。他表示，张健仁应该向他的“老大”，即财政部长林冠英争取拨款，而不是使用自己的钱。 他质疑张健仁此举的用意，究竟是证明什么？ 罗克强今日发表文告表示，人联党曾经向砂公共工程局询问剪草工程的拨款事宜，该局表示，联邦礼仪道路的剪草拨款是来自联邦政府，但联邦政府并没发出这笔拨款。 他说，张健仁一直批评他应该辞去巴达旺市议会主席，他为何要这么做？毕竟他向来真诚服务，不像张健仁那样一直误导民众。 他表示，相反地，张健仁应该辞去副部长的职位，因为他（张健仁）发出误导性言论，指砂公共工程局过度花费联邦政府的拨款。 他质问张健仁是否有站在砂拉越立场？为何过去以来他一直维护马来亚，帮助马来亚解释所有课题，包括在联邦礼仪道路剪草课题上，指责砂拉越当局。他认为，张健仁是时候站在砂拉越的立场，维护1963年大马建国契约赋予砂拉越的权益，就如砂希盟竞选宣言所承诺的那样。 罗克强指出，巴达旺市议会每年征收的税收数额大约是2200万令吉，当中需要应付450名市议会职员的薪金、巴达旺辖区内的剪草工作、清理道路及沟渠等等。为什么需要动用砂拉越纳税人的钱，进行联邦礼仪道路的剪草工作？毕竟这向来是联邦政府的责任。 他说，张健仁难道不知道砂拉越每年有至少150亿令吉的石油收入被马来亚取走，他竟然还大言不惭，要砂拉越人承担联邦政府负责道路的剪草工作。 “即使是过去联邦政府提供的8亿2000万令吉拨款，也仅仅足够应付联邦道路的管理及维修需求，不能充作其他用途。” 他希望张健仁不要再误导民众，指联邦道路的管理及维修也是市议会的责任。
