Sarawak Budget is positive
Sim Kiang Chiok, SHEDA Kuching Chairman expressed his views that the Sarawak budget is another one of the big positive steps towards restoring our rights as provided for in our Constitution where we are entitled to imposed Sales tax on our produce and extracted material such oil and gas. 符祥威：张健仁发言前须三思
人联党青年团秘书长符祥威提醒国内贸易及消费事务部副部长张健仁，在发言前必须三思。 他说，张健仁指砂政府应动用340亿令吉储备金以维修残旧学校，这言论并不恰当。 他质问张健仁，教育是属于联邦政府的责任，因此后者为何可以发出如此不负责任的言论。 符祥威在新闻发布会上说，此情况就好比一对夫妇，丈夫回家后告诉其太太说，我做工很辛苦，你有很多储蓄，不如将钱拿出来养家，还孩子学费等，这样可不可以？试问这样的婚姻还维持来干嘛！ “这情况就好比是砂拉越与联邦政府的情况一样，既然大家有各自的职责，若你（联邦政府）不想略尽你该有的职责，那试问砂拉越还留在联邦干嘛？我们还需要联邦政府干嘛？若什么东西都由砂拉越政府来支付，那我们何不自己组成一个政府就好了。” 他希望张健仁在发言时应该三思，不要一再伤害砂拉越人，也不要忘记是砂拉越人将他送入国会的，因此就应该以砂拉越人的立场为砂拉越人说话，非做了政府或副部长后，就反而代表马来亚人说话。
