沈桂贤团队持续推动石角发展
拿督沈桂贤服务团队持续推动石角地区发展，缔造更好的生活环境。 该服务团队日前完成新纳布迪拉玛的五人制足球场，目前也正提升德莎威拉地区的沟渠。 其他地区的道路、沟渠提升工程、路灯和桥梁维修等，有些已获得批准，有些也即将施工。服务中心希望民众能继续给予配合，包括若面对地区上有什么问题，可随时前往服务中心反映和寻求协助。
许德婉：联邦单位应加强力度应对狂犬病
砂人联党中央妇女组主席许德婉促联邦单位，特别是卫生局、大马皇家警队及边防单位与砂兽医服务局及地方议会能紧密合作去重新探讨目前围堵狂犬病的策略，并在必要时调整应对策略，加大防疫力度。 “在加大防疫力度方面，砂拉越需要更多的人力和资金去展开有关工作。因此，我也恳请联邦政府允许砂拉越政府及地方单位与国际性非政府组织缔结合作，以获得狂犬病防疫专家的专业协助。” 她指出，砂防止虐待动物协会（SSPCA）自去年狂犬疫情出现以来，便积极与砂兽医服务局合作在各地展开大型疫苗注射活动。不过，她相信，如果能正式获得更多的人力资源、更多的专家提供专业知识及协助，狂犬病的防疫工作将事半功倍。 许德婉今日在文告中促请砂兽医服务局采取立即行动，并为流浪动物设立庇护所，以遏止疫情的蔓延。 她也苦口婆心的劝告不幸被咬伤的民众立即到政府医院“狗咬伤单位”就诊，而尚未带宠物注射狂犬疫苗的饲主也需立即让宠物接受疫苗注射。 “砂州政府自狂犬病情爆发至今，持续通过砂兽医服务局及砂防止虐待动物协会的协助在各地展开狂犬疫苗注射活动。目前为了确保更广的防疫覆盖率，也在石角地区挨家挨户为被饲养的宠物免费注射疫苗。” 许德婉说，昨天病逝的5岁男童是砂拉越爆发狂犬疫情以来第13个死亡病例，在这个星期里已经有2宗狂犬病死亡病例，情况令人担忧。 “我们有必要加大防疫力度，民众也需要和相关单位合作，以彻底遏止狂犬病疫情。”
Kho: Need to look into spread of rabies
SUPP Woman’s chief, Kho Teck Wan said the 5 years old boy who succumbed to rabies virus yesterday was the 13th victim of the Rabies outbreak in Sarawak. The victim died despite being treated with proper course of vaccination after bitten by a dog. Developments in Batu Kawah
Team Dr.Sim continued to bring development in his constituency, N.14 Batu Kawah, for a better living environment. The construction of newly Futsal court at Kampung Sinar Budi Lama has just completed. Currently some of the RTP projects such as drainage and bridge upgrading, road resurfacing and streetlight maintenances had already completed while others still under construction. “We hope the people can continue to cooperate, and those with problems can always refer to our ADUN N14 Service Centre for assistance” he said.
