New plank-walk for Kampung Wireless
Piasau assemblyman Datuk Sebastian Ting visited Kampung Wireless to inspect a project of 278-metre long plank-walk which would be expected to be completed in May. Ting said work is on to replace the poles and planks which had started in February, and will be completed before May 4. The first phase of the project was completed last year. 程明智：索回开采权是权力下放里程碑
砂人联党青年总团长程明智表示，首席部长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里公布砂拉越从联邦政府手中取回原属于砂拉越，但于不经意间遭侵蚀的主权，特别是在砂陆架域内的石油开采权，是权力下放技术委员会在持续不怠的努力之下所达致的里程碑。 他说，这是继收购巴贡水坝及推展砂拉越发展银行（DBOS）之后，砂拉越石油有限公司（PETROS）正式成立，并在1954年砂拉越边界更改法令下所赋予的砂拉越版图开展石油开采，标志着砂首长成功带领砂拉越人，朝向更强大的砂拉越迈出了一大步！ 他在文告上表示，砂人联党始终如一地贯彻自己所坚持的立场，即砂拉越若要强大，首先必须拥有财政自主权。只有全体砂拉越子民，无论城市或乡区，精诚团结，一致支持首长阿邦佐哈里的领导，砂拉越才能得享这种财务特权和地位。 “首长的公布实际上也奠立了一个重要的指标，即我们砂拉越人，是砂拉越土地包括陆架的拥有者，因此砂拉越自身的石油开采公司PETROS，有权勘探，提取和开采石油和天然气，而不是如反对党所指控一般，只是国油的承包商。” 程明智强调，事实再次证明，只有来自砂拉越的政党，才会为砂拉越而奋斗，不只是空口喊白话，而且透过实际行动，确保我们索回大马协议（MA63）所赋予的所有权利。然而，我相信来自马来亚的反对党不会与砂拉越人同享喜悦，反而鼓吹消极情绪，继续误导民众，以图分化砂子民的团结。
许德婉：妇女节普天同庆
砂拉越人民联合党中央妇女组主席许德婉指出，不管来自哪个国籍，种族，经济或政治背景，三八国际妇女节是一个庆祝及承认世界妇女成就的日子。 她说，从国家领袖到科学家，再到扮演多种角色的超级家庭主妇，女性在当今社会的每一个角落都扮演着非常重要角色。 她强调，照顾他人是我们女性的天性，但女性们往往忘记了照顾自己。因此，今年人民联合党中央妇女组三八国际妇女节的主题是“先爱自己”。 “主题旨在提醒女士们在百忙中别忘了要照顾自己，并把健康放在第一位。没有了健康我们不但不能照顾心爱的家人， 还会为家人带来负担。” 许德婉鼓励女士们不断地保持一颗好奇的心，活到老，学到老。 “随着快速发展的世界，我也要鼓励妇女们学会善用新科技来改善我们的日常生活， 并积极地参与砂拉越政府发展人民社会经济所提倡的数码经济。”
甘榜威勒斯获21万令吉重建木桥
砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀披露，美里区唯一水村甘榜威勒斯（Kpg Wireless）在乡村转型计划中获得21万2千令吉拨款，重建水村内10座腐蚀不堪的木板桥。 上述建设工程拨款是经陈超耀的积极争取下所批准。 重建水村木桥项目已在元宵节后展开，整个工程将在限期的3个月完成。这也是该水村所展开的第2期木桥重建工程；首期工程重建9座残破不堪的木桥，工程已完成。 陈超耀日前在重建木板桥承包商代表、美里市议会市议员和工程师的陪同下，巡视该甘榜的桥梁，并向村长查法及村委会一行人汇报进展。 他指出，10座在第2期重建工程下被鉴定为“危桥”的木板桥，长度共计278米，最长的木桥长度为68米。 他表示，整个甘榜共有19座桥梁。根据工程合约，第2期重建工程原本是在今年2月5日展开，不过建筑原料无法在新年前夕运抵，因此承包商在元宵节过后才施工，预计在5月竣工。 为如期完成工程项目，承包商员工将加快施工速度，确保所有桥梁在3个月后完成施工。此外，承包商也将对所有重建的木桥提供一年的品质保证。

联邦政府归还油气开采权予砂拉越
砂首长拿督阿玛阿邦佐哈里宣布，首相拿督斯里纳吉同意下放权力予砂拉越，包括将石油及天然气开采权归还予砂拉越政府。 就如他日前在出席诗巫新春团拜晚宴上的承诺，向联邦争取自然资源石油和天然气权益之中，联邦宪法下第9章第8（j）阐明，联邦拥有石油开采权，但是砂州条款2（c）中阐明开采与执照的权力乃属于砂拉越的。 拿督阿玛阿邦佐哈里出席砂拉越石油公司推展礼上做出此项好消息。 “砂拉越石油公司的推展就是向联邦政府争取权力的成果，因此砂拉越透过石油和天然气将加快砂州的工业发展及刺激砂州经济。” 首长在砂拉越石油公司推展礼中披露，砂拉越石油公司首席执行员沙奥卡古，是位出世在砂拉越的比达友籍人，拥有40多年的在石油和天然气行业的工作经验。 今年7月，砂拉越政府将承担全面监管州内石油及天然气领域的上下游活动，任何涉及的公司或人士，从今以后必须持有石油开采法令或天然气分配法令下的执照、准证、租赁及批准；换言之，相关业者被要求所有的运作与活动必须符合砂拉越法令，包括那些涉及使用土地与土地持有者。 他强调，砂拉越法令的实施，不会损害国油及其它早在州内参与石油及天然气领域的公司之利益或投资，无论是上游或下游。不过，他们的业务与活动运作，必须与砂拉越的法令与条规相符合。 同时他提及，首相纳吉早前言及将归还属于砂拉越的权益，无论是有意或无意被侵蚀。他称，砂拉越内阁已批准一项法案，修改石油开采法令以更新它的规定，并提供更好的执法。 “这项法案将在下一届砂州立法议会上提呈。砂州立法议会已通过2016年天然气分配法令，此法令将在今年7月1日生效。”
程明智：联民党合并论违背国阵领袖意愿
联民党员回归人联，成为国阵一份子才是大团结的唯一途径。 人联党青年总团长程明智发表文告指出，之前无论是在人联党党员代表大会上，或是在土保党代表大会上，首相和首长都一致的认定是时候联民党党员们回归人联党。不要再继续留在国阵以外，而是加入人联党成为砂拉越国阵的一份子。两位国阵最高领袖的公开表态立场和方案是非常清楚的。因此联民党领袖一直鼓吹所谓人联和联民合并的立场，是违背首相和首长的意愿。 程明智也提醒联民党领袖，虽然该党如今拥有5位州议员，这些选区席位不是联民党的，而是国阵的。联民党不应该忘记，这五位州议员在2016年州选时，是退出联民党，以国阵直属候选人的身份，使用国阵的旗帜和依靠国阵的竞选机制胜选的。 因此联民不能用“他们拥有5个州议席”作为联民和人联合并的理由。相反的，若联民5位州议员还要继续保留他们席位国阵代表权，他们就应该越早回归人联，加入国阵越好。 他在文告中，也再次重复强调国阵友党之间合并还是同一个阵线。但是如果任何在砂拉越国阵以外的政党，认同砂拉越国阵的政治斗争，就应该提出加入砂拉越国阵中任何一个政党，而不是要求合并。明智认为基于以上几点，首相和首长一致呼吁联民党党员回归人联党是提出了一个绝对正确和有智慧的团结方案。

The only viable way to unification is for UPP members to come back to SUPP and be part of BN. 陈超耀：首长坚决解决改教问题
砂拉越人民联合党卑尔骚区州议员兼中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师对于首席部长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里建议修改2001年伊斯兰法庭法令，表示赞扬。 “此举令人鼓舞，也是首长一项勇敢和坚决的决定，以解决脱教案问题。” 他强调，在索回砂拉越自主权课题上，人联党一直以来与阿邦佐哈里同一阵线。人联党要求的并不多，只是根据1963年建国契约，归还原本属于砂拉越的权益。 他说，砂拉越是世俗州属(secular state )，奉行世俗精神，并且1963年建国契约赋予砂拉越宗教自由的权力，这点在宪法上清楚阐明，各界都必须尊重。 对于砂拉越而言，每个人民代议士都有责任确保在此课题上，绝对不会出现任何干预，否决宗教自由的权力。 联邦法院五司日前裁决伊斯兰法庭有权审理脱教案件，这权力必须获得尊重。同时，联邦法院提出尽管砂拉越伊斯兰法庭法令没有处理脱教的相关条文，但2001年砂拉越伊斯兰理事会法令第68、69及70条文，已是与皈依伊斯兰教有关。 陈超耀表示，上述论点显示伊斯兰法庭有权裁决相关人士是否是穆斯林，而伊斯兰法庭处理改教案，也是符合逻辑和情理。 有鉴于此，首长建议修改2001年砂拉越伊斯兰法庭法令，以更清晰处理脱教案，是应该获得支持的。这显示首长积极捍卫砂拉越向来享有的宗教自由。 他进一步指出，联合国世界人权宣言也阐明每个人都享有选择宗教的权力，包括改教和奉行宗教信仰。 “就连砂拉越伊斯兰理事会副主席祖安达州议员也强调在此课题上，不应意气用事，而且维护和谐及团结精神。”
