“Michael’s loyalty to SUPP is beyond doubt”

SUPP Batu Kitang Youth Chief, together with all his Youth party members, affirm their full support and trust in Michael Tiang, SUPP Youth Central Chairman.

In response to opinion expressed by UPP Youth Chief Johnichal Rayong Ngipa, SUPP Batu Kitang Youth Chief Alvin Chong deplores regretfully and urge UPP Youth being self-discipline by revoking the speech.

Alvin, who hold the post of assistant publicity secretary in SUPP Youth Central, pointed out that Michael, being Youth Central Chairman cum Party Central Vice Chairman, is among the top leaders in the party. Hence, he is eligible to participate in the issue on the return of UPP to SUPP. Michael has say nothing wrong in this, as both Prime Minister and Chief Minister mention about return, butnot a merger.

At the same time, he expressed deep regret on the use of political trick with personal attacks and provocations by UPP Youth Chief. He stressed that SUPP Youths are solidly united in their hearts and minds, beyond the imagination of non-members. Hence, they can’t be provoked at random.

According to Leonard Tan, the secretary of Batu Kitang Youth, UPP Youth should rather mind of themselves first. Being originated from one, he hopes that UPP Youth would read own history and understand who was the one left the big family of SUPP at first, and which party they joined, before eventually UPP was formed.Do not publish press casually at the moment general election is approaching, with the intention of breaking up internal relationship of SUPP Youth.

Leonard pointed out that Michael belonged to none of other parties while joining SUPP. After many years serving the party, he was elected as Youth Chief by all youth delegates in Triennial Delegates Convention. His loyalty is undisputable. SUPP offers equal opportunities for everyone with sincerity and enthusiasm to serve the party and people. Similarly in this case, putting aside the background, UPP is welcomed for a return to SUPP.
