Grants for schools in Miri
Sarawak Local Government Minister, Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian gave federal government grant to all the SJK and SMJK schools in Miri yesterday afternoon. In giving out the RM1.08 million grant, Dr. Sim who is also the Housing Minister with Piasau State Assemblyman, Dato’ Sebastian Ting gave the grant at the Chung Hua Krokop school to all the headmasters and headmistresses. Dr. Sim said the beauty of Sarawak chinese schools are that they do not only cater to the Chinese students but all races and in some cases, there are more bumiputeras than chinese in the schools.Read More
朋岭支部设一马援助金柜台
人联党朋岭支部将于本周六（12月16日）假民达华天后宫以及周日（12月17日）假肯雅兰菜市场，早上8时至11时，设立一马援助金服务柜台，协助民众申请2018年一马援助金与更新相关资料。 民众只需携带本身或配偶的身份证，子女的身份证或出生证，最新的薪金单，银行户口资料及收益人身份证。此外单亲家庭的申请者必须携带相关文件（离婚证明书，死亡证明书等），以提供详细资料，避免申请被驳回。 如无法到场的民众可在工作日星期一至五（早上8时至12时，下午2时至4时30分）前往人联朋岭支部办公室寻求协助。人联党朋岭支部地址为：Lot 7159，Supreme Garden，Upper Chawan Road，Kuching或电话联系：082-331776，082-332667，082-335373。
