砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局发布新闻以更新华裔男子在印尼西加里曼丹恩蒂贡涉嫌毒品案，遭印尼国家肃毒局执法人员开枪击毙一案。 其家属已寻求人联党公共投诉局提供协助与法律建议。 砂拉越地方政府与房屋部长拿督沈桂贤已委派人联党公共投诉局主任叶耀星处理有关案件。叶耀星也已致函并联络砂拉越警察总监及砂拉越卫生局局长要求进行解剖验尸。 医院当局已通知人联党公共投诉局院方必须得到警方指示或庭令方能进行解剖验尸。我国警方称他们没有权力针对发生在国外领土的案件展开调查。因此，警方也就无权指示医院对死者遗体进行解剖验尸。我国警方建议其家属聘请一名律师入禀高庭以申请庭令进行解剖验尸。 死者妻子现已要求人联党公共投诉局协助向高庭申请庭令以对死者遗体进行解剖验尸，以确定死因。高庭已定于2018年1月8日进行审理。 人联公共投诉局已做好准备并尝试通过相关部门解决影响社区的公共议题。该投诉局已准备好为面对相关问题却不懂得如何处理的民众伸出援手。任何相关事宜可联系人联党公共投诉（016-7797688或082-246999）或亲临人联党总部。
