Leonard Lim, born to a Sarawakian father and an Indonesian mother 12 years ago, has been stateless all this while. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) today announced the appointment of Sim Kheng Boon as the chief executive officer of the newly-formed Sarawak Development Bank Bhd (DBOS) effective Aug 1. 范长锡移交公民权证书
砂人联党卢勃区州议员拿督斯里范长锡于泗里街国民登记局办事处，移交一张申请逾12年公民权证书予现年12岁的林贵荣。林贵荣是在父亲林文来陪伴下，前往该办事处领取该公民权证书。 林文来受询时，难掩欣喜的心情透露，过去一直不断为其12岁孩子林贵荣申请公民权，但都落空，如今终于实现愿望了。 他说，没有公民权就意味着非我国公民，而且其孩子林贵荣现如今也已经12岁了，目前就读广建小学六年级，如果在申请不到公民权，那么明年就没有办法升入中学就读，所以非常感激政府给予批准。林文来也透露，其妻子是外籍人，婚后只有这个孩子，不知道为什么在领获出生纸时，只有他妻子的名字。 他说，虽然后来经过多方的交涉，已经补上父亲名字，但还是导致孩子失去公民权，使得多年来申请孩子公民权一直都不获批准。后来，经过在多方面的协助和努力之下，终于在这一次获得批准，所以他对有关方面的不懈协助表示衷心感谢。 拿督斯里范长锡在移交公民权证书之后，也与国民登记局泗里街办事处主任阿里哈山举行交流，借此共商如何为泗里街地区民众提供更好的服务。 陪同拿督斯里范长锡前往国民登记局泗里街办事处移交该公民权证书者，尚有其工作服务团队、泗县参议会主席黄芝盈及泗公民中心经理黄拔文。
Sim Kheng Boon受委砂发展银行首席执行员
砂首长署宣布现年62岁的Sim Kheng Boon从本月1日起上任砂拉越发展银行首席执行员。 随着这项任命，砂拉越发展银行预料可以在2018年1月1日开始运作。 沈氏将获得砂拉越发展银行董事局全力支持，该局成员包括州务秘书丹斯里慕希迪、沙卡威阿里斯（Sharkawi Alis）、克里斯托夫安德连（Christopher Adrian）及拿督李原香。 他拥有加拿大温莎大学商业荣誉学位，在银行界服务超过30年。 在2012年至2015年，沈氏担任Kenanga投资银行的东马区执行董事，同时，他也为AmBank AmInvestment Bank Bhd服务逾30年。在该银行的最后职位是砂拉越区域总监。 沈氏是于1983年加入AmBank AmInvestment Bank Bhd，在领导阶层扮演重要角色。
