Assistance sought for lymphoma cancer patient Lee Sei Meng
Members of the public are urged to help a stage-four lymphoma cancer patient Lee Sei Meng, who is in dire need of money to cover the cost of his treatment. Piasau assemblyman Dato’ Sebastian Ting said Lee aged 42 is currently seeking treatment at Yue Wen Health Care Services, a traditional Chinese medicine practice. Water pipes in six months for Kampung Tudan Desaras
State Assemblyman for Piasau, Dato’ Sebastian Ting went to Kampung Tudan Desaras yesterday afternoon to relay some good news to the people. 美里甘榜杜当徙置区将获得水供设施
砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师于日前前往美里甘榜杜当徙置区，为当地居民捎来好消息。 他在乡区水供局官员的陪同下，向居民表示在未来6个月内，该局将装置水管，让当地享有自来水供应。 陈超耀去年致函给已故前任首长丹斯里阿德南沙登，要求特别乡区转型拨款落实该计划，而当时获得阿德南的批准。而在阿德南逝世之后，他再次致函给新任首长拿督阿玛阿邦佐哈里，提出同样的诉求。
癌症病患向陈超耀求助
罹患恶性淋巴癌末期的民众李世民，求助砂人联党卑尔骚支部主席兼卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师，希望尽快筹募12万令吉的治疗费用。 拿督陈超耀律说，患者李世民必须接受6个月的疗程，如今才完成逾一个多月，每个月的治疗费需要1万8600令吉，所以希望各界人士慷慨解囊，尽力协助这名癌症患者，早日筹获善款以完成所有的疗程。 目前李世民是在美里电星大厦的“悦汶中医治疗”接受治疗，每一天都必须到诊所进行治疗，包括电疗、针灸、中医药物治疗等，一天的医疗费高达600令吉。 李世民(42岁)来自诗巫，在美里定居多年，之前是一名汽车维修员。他在去年杪11月间，发现在颈部的一颗“小痘痘”突然病变，变成肿瘤后越长越大。瞬间的病发，变成严重性，因此在去年2月间前往美里中央医院进行深切检查。 他说，医院安排他进行抽样化验，结果在今年2月13日会见医生时被告知，其罹患的属于恶性肿瘤，已经是第4期。 他表示如今患病后无法工作，父亲在年幼时已去世，家中母亲已届71岁高龄。尽管他有兄弟姐妹4男1女，但苦于兄妹们各有各家庭，家庭状况也不是很好，无法在医药费给于协助，所以才会透过拿督陈超耀的协助，向社会人士筹募善款。 拿督陈超耀表示，他将会亲自拜会悦汶中医治疗的主治医师，以进一步了解患者李世民及各方面的情况。 他希望社会人士伸出援手，慷慨捐献，以便让李世民可尽早筹获12万令吉的医药费。 他呼吁各界人士欲捐助李世民，可联络拿督陈超耀(012-8778188)、谢家宏(016-8963170)、砂人联党卑尔骚支部杨玉英(085-423399)。民众也可以把善款汇入SEHATI SERVICE & INFORMATION CENTRE, 户口号码110270010015028(ALLIANCE BANK)。
