Complaints on slow internet connection speed in residential areas
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) has been receiving complaints from the public on slow internet connection speed in their residential areas. The public have also requested for assistance to highlight the matter to the relevant authorities to rectify the current predicament faced by internet users to enhance, improve and increase the quality of internet speed by improving telecommunication infrastructure. 程明智争取诗巫机场装置自动降陆系统
首长署政治秘书程明智表示，他个人会写信予马来西亚交通部，争取诗巫机场应有自动着陆系统（auto landing system）。 他强调，诗巫机场迫切需要设置自动着陆系统。 他是针对诗巫飞机场飞机滑出跑道事件发表文告如此表示。 “鸡翅膀事件后，诗巫又发生马航飞机在诗巫飞机场滑出跑道事件。庆幸的是，机上所有搭客和机组人员都安全。” 然而，他指出，该事件却导致诗巫机场关闭24小时，影响数千搭客，可能对这些搭客带来不必要的费用。 “短时间内，诗巫发生这两件事，令我感到失望的是，本地部长和诗巫市议会主席对这两件事保持沉默，没有做出任何发表。本地部长和诗巫市议会主席是民选领袖，是代表诗巫人民。” 另外，程明智也对诗巫和南兰国会议员感到失望。 他表示，诗巫飞机场不是第一次发生，因为大雨导致飞机滑出跑道事件，在几年前也曾发生过一宗商用小型飞机，因为天气不好而滑出跑道事件。。 而在上周六晚又发生一宗飞机滑出跑道事件，显示诗巫机场迫切需要设置自动着陆系统。
