探访贫苦家庭
首长政治秘书邓文武日前与马拉东区州议员拿督陈冠勋等人，前往探访一名贫苦家庭。 该家庭贫苦，就连家中年纪14岁的女儿也已经两年没有上学。 邓文武强调，必须尽快安排孩子上学，接受教育。 同时，该家庭家中也没有水电供应，对此，邓文武向当局反映，希望可以帮助他们解决这问题。

Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, Teng Ung Woo went to Sg. Petai after hearing of a hardcore farmer who had not send their daughter to school for two years. Teng said he went to the Welfare department and found out that the farmer did not have electricity or treated water to his house. His daughter who is 14, had left school for two years.
