Working visit to the Public Service Commission
A group of Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) political secretary to the Chief Minister made a courtesy call to the Public Service Commission (SPA) Friday. They had a dialogue sessions with the Director of the SPA, Matthew Anak Dominic Barin. Sarawak United Peoples’ Party held a councillor workshop at the party headquarters today, officiated by Local Government Minister, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian.
砂人联党市县议员工作营
砂人联党地方议会市县议员工作营于10月1日在人联党总部举行。 党主席兼砂地方政府部长拿督沈桂贤、中央秘书长兼卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀、宣教秘书俞小珊、巴都吉当区州议员罗克强、青年团总团长陈开和妇女组主席拿汀徐美丽皆参与。 众领袖与各地区的市县议员一起交流，并在工作营结束后一起合影。
罗克强援助遭撞后逃老翁
1名74岁的老翁遭撞后逃，引起巴都吉当州议员罗克强的关注和提供援助。 事件发生于9月11日晚上7时左右，该名名为Tan Than Poh的老翁，当时浮罗岸路骑脚踏车时，不幸遭一辆车撞击，导致其双脚蒙受重伤，而撞击着更在事发后马上逃逸。 身兼巴达旺市议会主席的罗克强呼吁这宗车祸的目击者，挺身而出提供线索。 罗克强指责肇祸者很不负责任，他应该向警方自首，并赔偿老翁医药费。 截至今日为止，老翁仍然在砂拉越中央医院留医，而罗克强今早也前往医院探访他。 任何对该车祸有线索，或想要帮助老翁的民众，可联络罗克强013-8188088，或前往古晋警察总部报案，或与助理调查官Sergeant Zullfaqar Hashim会面。
REDS组织拜会沈桂贤
无线电紧急电台及无人机组织（REDS）于9月30日礼貌拜会砂地方政府部长拿督沈桂贤，以向他汇报关于该组织的运作。 该组织亦邀请沈桂贤担任顾问。 他们是以主席再努丁为首，在场包括顾问拿督阿末。 无线电紧急电台及无人机组织是志愿和非营利的团体，他们在天灾发生期间，可使用无线电进行通讯，这项技术在没有网络覆盖的偏僻乡区尤其重要。 同时，他们也擅长使用无人机，从空中监察地面情况。
