砂地方政府部长拿督沈桂贤于日前走访开裕巷夜市。 位于印度街的开裕巷夜市是每逢周五和周六举行，现场有各种各样的美食。 沈桂贤与北市市长拿督阿都华合、北市行政委员拿督黄鸿圣和南市市议员黄廉欢等，在开裕巷夜市与民众、游客和小贩交流。他认为，开裕巷夜市是重振古晋老街的成功例子之一。 他说，夜市也提供商业机会，就业机会和促进地方上人民的交流，就像过往的岁月那样。 他会鼓励所有26个地方议会在辖区鉴定举办夜市的机会。
