First and foremost, SUPP would like to thank our Chief Minister Adenan Satem for securing the Administrative Empowerment (Phase 1) from the Central Government. 砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员于昨晚出席五哩八港路睦邻委员会举行的新年活动。 这项活动是于杨国斯路段五哩八港路礼堂举行。 沈桂贤赞赏当地居民的团结，认为那里充分显示了砂拉越各族和谐及和平共处的精神面貌。
Chung Fatt Tang Temple Lighting Ceremony
SUPP President, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian officiated the annual blessing ceremony at Chung Fatt Tang Temple Lighting Ceremony in conjunction with the Chinese New Year @ Kenyalang Park Shopping Centre. He said it was a blessing for Sarawak that all different religion group co-exist in harmony and there was no fear of believing in one’s own religion.
肯雅兰众发堂法王圣君庙亮灯仪式
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员于昨晚为肯雅兰众发堂法王圣君庙主持新春亮灯仪式。该庙配合来临的农历新年亮灯，让肯雅兰增添不少欢乐新春气氛。 出席者包括本固鲁陈传禹、肯雅兰众发堂法王圣君庙主席黄国远、总务林植星及财政温国良。
宣布美里区候选人
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤宣布党美里区3个州议席的候选人，分别为史纳汀(李景胜)、卑尔骚(陈超耀)及埔奕(俞小珊)。 他强调，上述3个候选人将会代表国阵出战，并且都要全力争胜。 他呼吁党员自己必须对人联要有十足信心，因为人联的贡献有目共睹。 他是于昨日出席史纳汀支部举办的“青春活力女和我”韵律操活动上致词时，这么表示。该活动共有超过1000名来自党支部党员及代表出席。 沈桂贤也促请砂州华人必须全力支持阿迪南领导的政府，且珍惜今天砂州的和谐和安宁环境。 他说，目前有许多西马华人都想迁移到砂拉越居住，他们的这项决定主要是西马地方上出现的局势构成，如果本州华人都不懂得珍惜当下，就身在福中不知福了，且将失去更多。
