Batu Kawah Road community Association 28th anniversary
President of SUPP, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian went down to the Batu Kawah Road community Association to celebrate their 28th anniversary. Meeting up with the locals there, Dr. Sim said SUPP had played a major role for the area which included infrastructure, community servicing, health and education. He said SUPP will continue to serve Batu Kawa area to strengthen the community spirit of oneness despite having a multi racial group staying there.
石角民众联谊会晚宴
砂拉越人民联合党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员于昨晚出席石角民众联谊会庆祝成立28周年纪念暨颁发会员子女学业优良奖励金晚宴。 他呼吁该联谊会积极扮演凝聚社区民众力量的角色，包括成立社区警政，以配合警方一起维持治安。 他说，单靠警方力量并无法真正有效消灭罪案，民众必须要给予配合。 他也促请石角民众联谊会关注石角地区的蓬勃发展，尤其是石角区华小需要扩建的因素，证明当地人口日益增长，这对于联谊会日后的发展将带来深远的影响。
