President of SUPP, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian said Chinese education is not only for the Chinese but for all races, including those from foreign country. 圣淘沙支部呼请砂州选民拒绝外来政党
人联党圣淘沙支部深感有必要提醒砂州子民有关民联领袖优柔寡断式领导危机。事实上，民联领袖惯常存在一个疑问即在追求各自的议程下，民联是否是个可行的联盟或是一个松散的合作伙伴。 2013年，民联三党同意地方议会选举事宜并列入其政策蓝图中惟当初并没有提到伊斯兰刑事法的实行。近期，民行党及伊党因欲伊斯兰刑事法及地方议会选举而针锋相对，这显示出民联三党并无诚意实行上届国选中之承诺。这是违背了因民联所提出的新政治气象、亲民、杜绝贪污、透明化、减少政治争端及可信任的政治口号而投选与信任民联之选民（特别是市区选民）。 人联哥打圣淘沙支部秘书叶耀星指出上届国选大批市民出席民联讲座，听民联煽动性演讲和相信民联宣言，而今民联一批领袖的出现令日日皆有轰动新闻。这显示民联特别是民行党对于民联本身之宣言口号等不甚理解，更令人担忧的是三党只注重各自的政治地位、生存及充分利用狭义种族与宗教课题，直接粉粹了人民的希望及对未来的展望。过去六个月种种迹象显示民联三党特别是民行党政治倾向于权力的欲望及自身利益，这与其“改变”宣言背道而驰。 有鉴于此，人联党圣淘沙支部呼请砂州选民拒绝外来政党即民联破坏砂州一直以来在享有的和谐及社会稳定。砂州只有在国阵模式下方能享有目前多元种族和谐生活方式。砂州各项发展及转型计划在首长拿督巴丁宜阿德南的带领下皆取得成功，这证明了只有州国阵可在不分种族与宗教下为砂州带来更美好的未来。
Dr Sim – visit to Sarawak Salvation Army
President of SUPP Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian said it is important not to forget the less fortunate during festive occasions and to spend some time with them. Sim with his wife, Enn Ong, shared their joy with 40 children from the Sarawak Salvation Army recently in conjunction with the Chinese new year celebration. 砂拉越人民联合党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员于日前在古晋中华小学校董会主席王长福的陪同下，拜访古晋中华小学第一校。 随行者包括来自印尼的教育团体代表。 沈桂贤对于一小的学校设施感到赞叹，并感谢来自社会的慷慨支持，家长与政府的配合让本地的华小教育发展取得稳定进步。他说，与本身儿时就读小学的设施相比，今日的华小设施可说已有显著进步。

Sarawak United Peoples’ Party Secretary General, Dato’ Sebastian Ting said he support the proposed regulations suggested by the Menteri Besar of Negri Sembilan, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan which called for converts to divorce first in the civil court before converting.
