人联党与救世军儿童提前庆春节
朋岭支部妇女组联合妇女,家庭及社会发展部属下的一马妇女社区组织 – PERWANI Bijak,PERWANI Phoenix和PERWANIPending于星期六下午四时携带古晋儿童之家的孩子一同到肯雅兰商业中心感受华人新年的气氛及晚餐交流。 党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员亦出席,与儿童们一起感受新春气氛。 该活动主题为春暖花开暖童心,目的就是希望通过活动能让孩子更加感受到社会对他们的关怀和勉励。同时也让孩子们体验华人传统文化节日的喜气。
Kenyalang Park Chinese New Year market
The Kenyalang Park Chinese new year market has been a favorite place for Kuchingnites to buy their Chinese new year goodies, said President of SUPP Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian. Sim, who officiate the opening ceremony said every year, said the people took it as a pilgrimage to shop at Kenyalang night market. He wished everyone a Happy Chinese New Year. There are 279 stalls in the Kenyalang night market.
Chinese New Year lantern lights
With the spirit of the coming joyous season, President of SUPP Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian switched on the Chinese new year lantern lights at the Chung Fatt Tang (Temple) at Kenyalang Park market. The lanterns lit up the place, adding to the Chinese New Year mood.
沈桂贤为肯雅兰年货市集主持开幕
砂拉越人民联合党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员于昨晚为肯雅兰年货市集主持开幕仪式。 肯雅兰每年都会举办年货市集,而今年共有279个摊位,售卖各式各样的年货,包括装饰品,年糕与衣服等等。值得一提的是,也有马来同胞参与,让现场弥漫各族融合的气息。
Party assistance for a blind couple
SUPP President, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian, together with party leaders and members of the Lion’s Club, went to Chawan Road, Lorong 13 today to give a blind couple a helping hand. Dr. Sim said the couple’s house was in a sad condition and they bought raw materials and did a gotong royong to assit them.
人联党关注非法木屋居民迁移新居进展
砂拉越人民联合党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师于昨日,在中央宣教秘书兼埔奕支部主席俞小珊的陪同下,前往关心美里甘榜莫里干(Kampung Merikan)非法木屋区居民迁移新居的进展。 这些居民是迁移至美里Tudan Desaras。 令人感到欣慰的是,有9户之前无法迁移至上述地点的家庭,在州政府体恤他们的情况下,已经答应安排每户家庭获得兴建新屋的土地。 陈超耀对于这些家庭终于放下心头大石,感到高兴。
党主席沈桂贤问候贫苦盲人夫妇
砂人联党与狮子会联手献爱心,协助一对盲人夫妇重建家园。 砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员于今日前往诏安路木屋区拜访当地一对盲人夫妇,这对年龄皆超过60岁的夫妇,居住在简陋的木屋,每日过着清苦的生活。 这对夫妇在诏安路居住已经大约10年,丈夫名叫作伊尼,而其太太名叫作米达。他们的木屋已经破旧不堪,甚至在最近雨季时出现屋顶漏水的问题。 古晋犀鸟狮子会会长何燕春得知伊尼夫妇的情况后,马上安排协助重建家园的工作,并获得砂人联党的鼎力支持。 沈桂贤在造访伊尼夫妇时,向俩人献上问候,并承诺会尽量给予必要的援助。而他们也对于沈桂贤的关怀声声感激。 出席者包括砂人联党青年团总团长陈开及青年团宣教秘书符祥威。
Update on Kampung Merikan Squatters
Secretary General of SUPP, Dato’ Sebastian Ting visited the Kampung Merikan Squatters with Publicity Chief Adam Yii to see the relocation process of the 71 families to their new place at Tudan Desaras. “And more importantly we went there to convey the wonderful news to the remaining 9 families who were not allocated a residential lot initially, that the Government has considered their appeals and has agreed to allocate to them a lot each.
