Reaction to Budget 2015 from Central Women Advisor

In the 2015 Fiscal Budget tabled by our Prime Minister Najib Razak, improving social welfare development and promoting woman training development are indeed encouraging policies for women nationwide. As previously mentioned by Sarawak Chief Minister, it is important to reserve 30% job opportunities for women. 沈桂贤:财政预算案亲民

砂拉越人民联合党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员认为,首相拿督斯里纳吉宣布的财政预算案是亲民的。 他说,要在国家经济发展与人民要求方面作出权衡,向来是最难的。 他指出,明年度财政预算案中,一马援助金的金额获得增加。同时,个人所得税也获得减低与调整,加上一些生活日常物品豁免消费税,这无形中减轻人民的经济负担。 首次以国会上议员身份现场见证财政预算案宣布的沈桂贤,也喜见政府提供更多培训计划,让人民无需过于依赖津贴,凭着自己的努力改善生活。他也很高兴女性可以积极参与这些计划,毕竟在国家发展建设过程,女性也扮演重要的角色。 不过,他认为砂州还是需要更多的发展,比如提升学校及医院设施,不仅仅是建造泛婆大道而已。 他希望更多亲善房屋计划能在砂州落实,毕竟购屋的问题不仅仅是城市人所面对,那些中等收入阶层人士也面对同样的问题。
