砂人联青：联民党并非国阵一份子
砂拉越人民联合党青年团发表文告，纠正联民党透过报章指该党是属于国阵政党之一的声明。 人联青宣教秘书符祥威律师表示，联民党并非是属于国阵成员党，该党只是暂时性属于“国阵附属方案”，这方案是容纳那些原先在国阵旗帜下竞选，不过后来却离开国阵成员党的人民代议士。 他说，联民党只是刚成立的新政党，从来不曾在国阵旗帜下竞选，并在民主制度下胜出。 他强调，绝对不容质疑的是，砂人联党会在来届州选出战19个议席，捍卫该19个议席的出战权，这是绝不妥协的。 “联民党不可能出战人联选区” 因此，联民党绝对不可能在没有获得全部国阵成员党，尤其是砂人联党的同意下，出战任何选区。 “联民党目前并非属于国阵成员党，该党更不可能在没有获得人联党同意下，进入国阵。” 有鉴于此，符祥威认为，联民党组党委员会主席拿督斯里黄顺舸指国阵成员党已经认可联民党是国阵大家庭一份子的言论，是极不正确，具有误导性的。
