州立法议会开幕
砂州第17届第4季第一次州立法会议于今日由州元首丕显斯里泰益玛目主持开幕。 这项隆重的仪式是于州立法议会大厦外广场举行，这也是新任州元首泰益玛目首次主持议会开幕礼，同时也发表施政演词。 砂人联党青年团总团长陈开代表未克出席的党主席丹斯里陈华贵，出席今日的议会开幕仪式。 本届州立法议会为期8天，由于在开会期间，适逢5月13日的卫塞节公假，因此，原本在下周三结束的会议，延长至周四（15日）结束。 议会期间，两项州政府法案及6项在野党议员动议将寻求议会通过。 同时，本届议会共接获319项来自38名州议员的提问，其中220项提问将会以口头问答方式给予答覆，其余提问则以书面方式答覆。
