达雅丰收节选美活动开跑
配合即将来临的达雅丰收节，由全国达雅比达友协会（DBNA）主办的一项选美比赛目前正开放提供报名，尽管此项比赛的报名截止日期是4月14日，但主办当局目前已经接获超过20份报名，反应不俗。 这项选美比赛的总奖金高达7800令吉，据筹委会主席贝尼迪（Benedict Poris）表示，基于报名反应超出预料，因此主办当局将举行初选，选出12个决赛佳丽，进行最后比拼。 她指出，初选活动将在4月26日在新生村誉登广场Eastern Mall举行，时间是从上午9时开始，公众可踊跃出席观看。 至于决赛活动则会在5月10日在古晋王长水路达雅比达友协会活动礼堂举行，12名决赛佳丽将会在现场角逐后冠，赢取“Dayung Sangon”美誉。 有兴趣报名的女士，须在4月14日之前，与Kendy Edward 019-8185807/010-9820257或Annie Teresa John 013-8166790联系，以获取参赛表格。 参赛条件是，参赛者必须是未婚比达友女性，或父母其中一人是比达友族也可参赛，年龄须介于18至28岁之间。

Kuching : The ‘Dayung Sangon’ beauty contest,the first to be organised by the Dayak Bidayuh National Association (DBNA) in conjunction with this year’s Gawai Dayak celebration has received overwhelming response.
